The village is home to Follifoot church of England primary school, with a great deal of high schools and grammar schools in the surrounding areas, Harrogate Grammar, St. Aidans Church of England high school, St John fisher Catholic Academy, all have exceptional Ofsted ratings and are all accessible by public transport from Follifoot hence it being an immaculate location to consider!
The regular bus services from the Harewood arms to Harrogate town centre operates every hour with two buses with a 44 minute journey through Wetherby or an 18 minute journey directly to the Odeon cinema in Harrogate. Leeds, the nearest city, is only a half an hour drive south down the a61 if you prefer to go shopping or have a love for music.
The Follifoot community offers a range of different activities to get stuck in to including horse riding as well as lessons at the Follifoot riding centre, golf, rugby, cricket and walking to include those of the community. The village hall is an easy access space available for parties, weddings and events with an outdoor patio area and grass perfect for birthdays locally.
Summers consist of a Summer fate and dog show and sunny pub trips at the Harewood arms and Radcliffe arms, serving delicious food with reasonable prices.
