Work has begun on the second phase of a pioneering development to transform a former newspaper headquarters and printing works in Harrogate into a sustainable office development.
Phase two of the commercial refurbishment project at 1 Cardale Park follows the successful completion and launch of 14 ground floor offices, including co-working space and an on-site exercise studio.
This latest step in the four-part development will see renovation begin on the upper floors to create further “wellbeing offices” with low energy LED lighting and innovative design features to maximise natural light.
Adam Crawfurd-Porter of agent FSS Property said part of the new first floor space was already pre-let.
“This development is the first of its kind in the region and has been specifically designed to promote wellbeing, which is a key factor in reducing stress and improving productivity in the workplace.
