The landlord told us the other agent hadn’t given them any advice or made any attempt to renew the agreement for the next year. They hadn’t even done a single visit to check the property and to ensure that the tenant was maintaining the property to the correct standard. The landlord had not received replies from the agent to emails or telephone messages for 12 weeks.
We were happy to step in and support the landlord by producing a new tenancy agreement so that they could manage the property themselves, leaving us to deal with rent collection, observation visits and compliance.
We arranged to conduct an inspection visit within a few weeks and pulled together the necessary safety certificates, making sure everything was fully compliant.
